Classes in our kitchen are designed to provide an atmosphere of learning and enjoyment. From our classes you’ll learn the skills, techniques, and tips for recreating recipes successfully at home. We offer a broad variety of classes including ethnic flavors, culinary training such as knife skills, creative applications with cookie and cake decorating, and advancing the use of tools and appliances in the kitchen. The class instructors are chefs from popular Rapid City and Black Hills restaurants as well as chefs from outside the region. You’ll love the energy and passion that each of our teachers bring to their cooking classes.

Embrace the flame! Learn how to flambé while we cook up a feast with fire, so don’t miss out!

Learn how to chop, slice and dice like a chef! You will learn the chef’s pinch grip, the guide hand and how to push your chef’s knife effortlessly through vegetables. Taking basic vegetables from the whole piece to their smallest size is truly an art form. You will see the classic cuts demonstrated and then be able to practice them on a variety of vegetables and herbs. This hands-on class will give you the fundamentals on how to use a chef’s knife which is 80% of all cuts on the cutting board. These skills will add to the enjoyment of food prep and will have you feeling like a true culinary artist. Knives will be provided.
If you cannot attend a class you registered for, please let us know within 48 hours to receive a refund. We will give store credit for cancellations less than 48 hours in advance. We cannot refund a class missed without notification.
